Certification Requirements of the DBT e.V. Umbrella Organization

Of course, anyone interested in medicine and psychology can take DBT courses. The courses are offered by certified DDBT trainers. Our trainers are trained according to M. Linehan’s guidelines and attend annual courses to refresh their knowledge. All courses are modular in structure and can be tailored to meet individual needs.

In addition to the general continuing education courses, it is possible to earn the following certification as part of the DDBT curriculum:

• DBT-TherapeutDBT-Therapeut für Sozial- und Pflegeberufe
• DBT-A Therapeut für Sozial- und Pflegeberufe
• DBT-Therapeut für Kinder und Jugendliche (DBT-A)
• Doppelprüfung DBT-Therapeut und DBT-A Therapeut
• DBT-Behandlungseinheit
• DBT-A-Behandlungseinheit (Schwerpunkt Adoleszente)

The DBT training guidelines are consistent with the international DBT training guidelines of the World DBT Association (WDBTA).
